It’s mid-May and so far this spring I’ve only seen the mercury push past 60 degrees three times, with an average in the upper 40s. Jacket weather everyday, basically. The first thing I noticed about the POC Transcend is just how little I actually noticed it. I wasn’t desperately reaching for zippers and flaps to escape the feel of being stuck in a body-sized sauna while sucking wind on grueling climbs. Nor was I trying to seal off any port where a breeze could enter for frigid-aired descents.
