Deity’s line of bar and stems have been popular upgrade items for high-end builds for years. Despite their popularity, Deity didn’t have a 35 mm diameter bar/stem combo until last year. Deity took their time moving to 35 mm and rightfully so. Many 35 mm bars on the market are simply too stiff for anyone who’s not a 250 lb gorilla. Instead of resulting in a “precision” feel, they can just feel harsh. We threw the new 35 mm Speedway bar and Copperhead stem setup on our project Nicolai G-1 build along with their Knuckleduster grips and spent a few months riding them. Read on to learn more.
