Let’s kick things off with the Transfer dropper. Thanks in large part to a clever new saddle clamp design, the post is an impressive 30 to 50mm shorter overall than the old model. FOX says you should be able to increase the amount of travel you use by roughly 25-50mm (1-2″) with the new post compared to the previous Transfer, depending on your frame’s max insertion depth and other variables.
Improved serviceability is another big highlight, made possible by the easily accessible collar design. It allows you to perform a quick lower leg tuneup to keep things running as smoothly as possible. Full service still needs to be performed by an authorized FOX service center.
