This week, I’m joined by Euan Speirits. Euan is a 4x racer and a doctor who has managed to combine his love of riding and medicine to help provide racers with the level of care that he feels they deserve, and an area that certainly feels lacking in racing today. We chat about his background in riding, how Gee Atherton led him to setting up Action Sports Medical, and how he intends to support racers. We also talk a lot about concussion and Euan gives us some help on what to look out for. This episode is a bit different, but I think it’s really important for the sport that we talk more about the medical side of things, and work towards ensuring that we have the right support in place for those who are risking it to make competition as great as it is.
