The review you’re about to read will be simple and straightforward. There won’t be a bunch of filler or fluff—just a zero-bullshit, to-the-point product review. Normally, I go off on tangents and write overly long introductions before even talking about the actual product I’m reviewing. I tend to provide lengthy background stories on products or blabber on about design philosophy or industry trends. I do this because it provides context. But I’m skipping all that this time. How come? Because this is a Marzocchi Bomber.

Bombers were simple and straightforward. They didn’t have a lot of filler or fluff. They were zero-bullshit and to-the-point. Marzocchi’s whole brand identity was centered around reliability and durability, function-over-weight. Fox has resurrected the brand with that same ethos. Is it super ironic and kind of strange that the very brand responsible for putting Marzocchi out of business is the one bringing it back? Yes, yes it is. But, who cares? It’s nice to see Bombers again. And because the Marzocchi-branded products are designed by Fox and made in Fox’s own Taichung factory, we know the manufacturing is up to snuff. Nuff said. We’re keeping this simple.
