Quite simply, it’s the quintessential full-suspension trail bike, as comfortable scaling big climbs as it is threading the needle on tight singletrack with its 130 mm of suspension travel. And for 2020, Canyon have made the Neuron:ON even better, by fully integrating the e-drive system on all models in the entire range.
The main objective when developing the new Neuron:ON was to improve the bike’s handling and to make it more capable. Undoubtedly, the most eye-catching change is the complete integration of drive system and battery into the bike’s frame. But the change is about much more than just aesthetics – it also lowers the bike’s centre of gravity and improves front-end stiffness, improving performance on technical trails. All Neuron:ON models are still backed by the proven power of Shimano’s E8000 drive system, giving riders the range to explore trails they’ve only dreamed of tackling. And new for 2020, there’s now an on/off button and USB-C charging socket conveniently located on the top tube.
