Curious if the Sentinel is still a good buy in 2020? Where does it excel? What mods can improve it? That and more in this detailed member review.

The Good:

  • Versatile
  • Durable
  • Easy to work on
  • Backed by a great company
  • Incredible Handling (in the right size)
  • Good suspension action (with the right shock)

The Bad:

  • A bit too linear; adding the right air shock and tune can mitigate this
  • Chainstays length makes longer reaches a bit harder to weight properly
  • Jack of all trades means its the master of none
