Do any of you remember when Apple Launched the iPod in 2001? I remember lusting after that clunky little box that magically stored your whole music collection in the palm of your hand. Apple wasn’t the first brand to launch a digital MP3 player, but it was one of the first to get it right and create something that sparked consumer interest in the budding area of digital media players. The first version was bulky, slow, and ugly, but over time it evolved into a sleek pocket device that almost everyone had.

I’d venture to guess that eMTBs are on a similar path and will soon be the most common bike found at the trailhead. Like Apple, Haibike is a brand has been there since the early days, playing an important role in the beginning and acceptance of eMTBs. Much like the digital media player world, ebikes have been evolving, getting sleeker, and changing to meet rider’s needs. The Xduro ALLMTN 6.0 is Haibike’s premier all around offering, but is it enough to keep up with the current crop of ebikes?

Haibike’s naming structure that reads like a text message from 2004 may feel a little dated, but thankfully they’ve made strides to update their bikes in the ways that matter, on the trail. With a $6,700 MSRP, the XDURO ALLMTN packs a solid spec and familiar Haibike suspension and design cues. At the core of the bike is a Bosch Performance CX 250W motor and 500Wh battery.
